DC Roof Mount
Maxville Lake Winery was established in 2014 in St Helena, California. The property sits on 1,000 acres of hillside in the heart of Joseph Ballinger Chiles' original "Rancho Catacula." The first planting for the vineyard occurred in 1974 when the first owner decided to start his own wine business. He planted acres of Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon, which are now nearly 50 years old. Being old vines, very concentrated and intense fruit is produced to create extraordinary wine. This vineyard has continued to prosper for many years. However, with rising energy costs, it became apparent that it was time for the vineyard to invest in solar. Sunworks was proud to work alongside the vineyard to install a 170 kW solar panel system.

Maxville Winery was seeing an increase in energy costs for the vineyard month after month. To make the property more eco-friendly and cost-effective, the decision was made to go solar.
SOLUTION
Sunworks assessed a sizable solar power system that would offset the rising costs of Maxville Lake Winery.
OUTCOME
With the 170 kW solar panel system in place, Maxville Winery is able to offset 90% of its energy usage.
