Project Description

Danna Farms is a Yuba County farming enterprise growing fruits, vegetables, and walnuts for domestic and international markets. Danna Farms is family owned and operated by 3rd and 4th generation California farmers who are passionate about growing the highest quality food. Danna Farms currently grows a variety of commodities including English walnuts, prunes, honeydews and cantaloupes, butternut squash, alfalfa, Fuyu persimmons, and sunflowers. By using innovative procedures, modern technology and sharing their vision, they conserve our natural resources and are able to build a growing operation that will be sustainable for generations to come.

SUSTAINABILITY

Danna Farms continues to grow crops on land that has been farmed by their family for generations. The family has always had a deep respect for the land and the environment. In order to continue their family legacy they uphold this respect for the land and environment. Going solar is one of the ways they conserve our natural resources and are able to build a growing operation that will be sustainable for generations to come.
